| Photographer Tricia Allen, is a
doctoral candidate in Anthropology at the University of Hawai'i. Since
completing her master's thesis in 1992 on the ancient practice of Marquesan
tattooing, she has been traveling the Pacific documenting the traditional arts and dance
of the various islands, focusing on traditional tattooing and body art. Tricia has
accumulated an extensive library of photos and footage in 35mm, Betacam SP and digital
format, as well as archival imagery. |
